How will you measure growth? Growth Factors (Baseline & Targets)
Equity 2.A - Multi-tiered System of Supports
Osborne Middle School recognizes that not all students learn in the same way or simultaneously. With this in mind, we will implement a comprehensive framework to fully operationalize a multi-tiered support system to address academic and non-academic student needs and remove barriers to success.
High-Quality Tier 1 Instruction
We will continue establishing structures for enhancing student learning and school improvement through collaborative learning teams intentionally focusing on Tier 1 instruction.
Osborne Middle teachers will continue to implement the OMS Instructional Framework. Our framework supports the collaborative cycle of inquiry and continuous improvement cycle needed for collaborative learning teams (CLTs) to achieve desired student gains.
Administrators will review failure reports with grade-level content teams every nine weeks to identify students who need additional support.
All Math and Language Arts teachers will implement iReady Math “My Path” and Reading instruction during Hawk Time for remediation and enrichment.
The Schoolwide Hawk Time Plan rollout will include structures for Tier 1 and Tier 1+ remediation for identified students in Math and Language Arts and structures for enrichment opportunities for identified students.
MTSS Tier 2 and Tier 3 Supports
The OMS MTSS Team will meet monthly to review data of grade-level team-identified students with academic and nonacademic concerns. The grade-level counselor will be the liaison during weekly team meetings to provide teams with Tier 2 and Tier 3 next steps, interventions, and strategies, which will be available on our school-wide MTSS Shared Drive.
Tier 2 identified students will be supported through Hawk Time with trained teachers using iReady Reading and Math. Classworks will be used for progress monitoring, which will be shared with the MTSS Team monthly to determine the next steps for intervention.
Tier 3 students will be supported through a Reading or Math Intervention class during Connections daily. Classworks will be used for progress monitoring, which will be shared with the MTSS Team monthly to determine the next steps for intervention.

Excellence 4.C - World-Class Communication and Engagement

ParentSquare - all teachers will fully implement the district communication platform, ParentSquare, to further enhance two-way communication among teachers, parents, and the school district.
We will tell our story by highlighting activities, events, and accolades on social media, parent and staff newsletters, and the school website.
