At Duncan Creek, we will provide additional opportunities to elevate student voice and ownership in the design of their school experience and be responsive to their requests by implementing a schoolwide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports system.

At Duncan Creek, we will reduce variability and increase the fidelity of High-Quality Tier 1 instruction for all students by ensuring consistent implementation of grade-level curriculum, effective use of targeted small group instruction during Hawk Time and content blocks, and ongoing formative assessments and progress monitoring.
Instructional Leadership support and accountability are evidenced by engagement of the administrative team during CLTs, completing weekly walkthrough observations, partnering with the instructional coaches, and giving frequent feedback to teachers.

At Duncan Creek, we will work to increase students' opportunities to learn and achieve by consistently implementing a high-quality curriculum that reflects grade-level expectations, focusing on early literacy and the science of reading.
Implementing the Schoolwide MTSS Data Team, and will use the GaMTSS Rubric to work towards alignment with PBIS and MTSS to ensure opportunity, access, and success for all students.
Leveled interventions are identified through Kid Talk meetings to provide needed academic and behavioral supports.
Staff Professional Learning is provided to increase teacher capacity in identifying and understanding student academic and behavioral needs through the MTSS process.
