Equity 2.A - Multi-tiered System of Supports
Puckett’s Mill will utilize a variety of data sources to design specific supports incorporating academic press and supportive community that will increase opportunities for student success.
Utilize iReady Universal Screeners in LA and Math to identify academic concerns and expedite support.
The MTSS team consisting of classroom teachers, support staff and administration will create support plans designed with specific action steps to support students with academic, behavior, social emotional or attendance needs. The team will use the results of the MTSS Air Rubrics guidance to strengthen the team's effectiveness.
Utilize the MCPP team to de-escalate student behavior and create a culture of student support. Incorporate strategies and interventios to create a school wide structure of support for all students.
Maximize the use of HawkTime (45 minute intervention block) to serve the individual needs of students.
Collaborative learning teams will utilize common planning times as well as other planning opportunities provided to create differentiated learning opportunities through remediation and enrichment while utilizing county resources for all students (including students receiving tier 2 and 3 interventions, ML students as well as gifted students).
Teachers will have opportunities to engage in guided peer observations to increase capacity in instruction and classroom management.
Administration will conduct consistent walk-thru's and provide feedback in order to monitor and strengthen high quality Tier 1 instruction.

Equity 2.B - Opportunity and Access
Puckett’s Mill will work to increase academic and social emotional opportunities for students. Each and every student will be engaged in high quality, rigorous and culturally relevant curriculum and enrichment activities.
Implement a 3 Part Plan to Increase Student Achievement including specifically designed planning, collaboration, and professional learning in the areas of High Quality Tier 1 Instruction, Closing Learning Gaps and Engaging Student Experiences.
Administrative team will continue to examine data to make specific and strategic decisions to enhance student learning.
PBL/STEM projects in every grade level.
Continue to enhance early learning opportunities for children ages birth to 5 years old with Play 2Learn and school age early learners through Joyful Learning and the Guided Play Space.
Utilize all available options for qualifying students for gifted services Universal Screeners, CogAT, Creativity Test, as well as a portfolio option when needed
Offer a variety of gifted services including: Advanced Content Math, Language Arts focused Thinking Skills, Content Replacement Model and Cluster Model.
Offer a variety of enrichment clubs including: Robotics (Challenge and Discovery teams as well as clubs), Chess, Art, Student Council, Junior BETA, Musicals, Yearbook, Readers Rally, Safety Patrol, Buddy Club, Recycle Rangers, Spanish Lunch Bunch and Good News Club.
Continue the work of the Culture and Inclusion Committee to bring awareness to the community and increase understanding and inclusivity.
