| Empathy 1.B - Staff and Student Well Being | Brookwood High School is committed to creating and sustaining an environment that prioritizes the well-being of students and staff.

Student well-being 1. Students will have daily contact with an advisor including weekly lessons to include SEL, school connection opportunities, advisement lessons, and other lessons to support behavior and belonging. 2. Students are given input into to plan for advisement and take leadership roles for 9th-grade students through the MERGE program. 3. We will continue implementation of Principal's Student Advisory Committee to increase direct impact of student voice. 4. We will continue to provide access to the over100 clubs/activities plus full varsity and sub-varsity athletic programs. 5. Support for student academics and social well-being during guided study and intervention support opportunities. 6. Continued implementation of PBIS/Upstander Program
Teacher well-being 1. We will maintain and strengthen our teacher recognition structure. This includes our school-wide ABCD awards, our Excellence in Instruction, Excellence in Collaboration, & Excellence in Relationships teacher recognitions. 2. We will offer teacher leadership development opportunities such as participation in Teachers as Leaders, Bronco Instructional Team leadership, Instructional Leadership Corps leadership, etc.
