Archer High School will create a system of support to address academic and non-academic student needs and remove barriers to success.
Establish consistent, high-quality Tier 1 instruction for all students by using a grade-level curriculum, targeted small groups, and ongoing progress monitoring.
Create effective strategies and supports for all learners, including those who are multilingual, gifted, and students with disabilities.
Use attendance data to identify students at risk of chronic absenteeism. Teachers will provide initial support, while administrators, counselors, and social workers will intervene with targeted plans for chronically absent students.

Archer High School will expand student opportunities to engage in and access high-quality, rigorous, and culturally relevant curriculum, advanced coursework, and enrichment activities.
We will utilize district resources and implement the established pacing guide and instructional strategies for Literature and Composition II to improve student literacy and increase the percentage of students reading on grade level.
Partner with Equal Opportunity Schools to boost enrollment in AP classes.
Collaborate with the Dual Enrollment coordinator to raise awareness and increase participation in the program.

Archer High School will use data to inform and measure student outcomes to improve and tailor instruction and support student growth.
Use Collaborative Learning Teams (CLTs) to review student data and create effective Tier 1 instruction that aligns with the frameworks of both Archer High School and GCPS.
Collaborate with the GCPS Department of Teaching and Learning to support CLTs and improve instructional practices.
Offer professional development opportunities that align with school and district initiatives, and use teacher and student tasks to monitor the implementation and progress of these goals.
